At Flight Deck Ready, our mission is simple: to bridge the gap between flight training and your first airline job.

Founded by aviation professionals with real-world airline experience, we understand the challenges newly qualified pilots face when entering a highly competitive job market. That’s why we’ve spent the last five years specialising in career support for low-hour pilots — helping pilot’s just like you secure roles with leading airlines across the UK and Europe.

Simulator Assessment Preparation

Our assessment packages are designed to fully prepare you for your airline simulator check. Each session includes a comprehensive 1-hour pre-flight briefing, where we cover airline-specific profiles, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and assessment criteria. This is followed by 2 full hours of hands-on simulator time, giving you the opportunity to practice typical assessment scenarios, improve your handling skills, and receive real-time feedback from experienced airline pilots.

FAQs

  • We can offer simulator training for any level of experience, however you should have at least completed an approved MCC course prior to booking a simulator assessment course.

  • It’s not a requirement to bring a sim partner, however we will endeavour to match you with a suitable candidate where we can.

  • We understand that assessments can come at short notice — and we’ll do our best to find a date that works for you.

To get the most out of your preparation, we recommend leaving a little time between your prep session and your actual airline assessment. This gives you the chance to reflect on feedback, refine your approach, and walk into your assessment feeling fully prepared.

  • If you’ve been out of flying for a while, or you're being assessed on a different aircraft type, we recommend booking a familiarisation session.

This will help you rebuild confidence, refresh key skills, and get comfortable with the specific aircraft you're being assessed on.

Feel free to get in touch — we’re happy to offer a tailored approach based on your experience and needs.

  • Our pricing is transparent, the price includes everything you need -instructor, materials and sim hire.
